Meet Pragati Rana Magar – A Dedicated Coffee Farmer from Lumpek
In the heart of Lumpek, where the air is crisp and the soil is rich, Pragati Rana Magar has been cultivating exceptional coffee since 2063 BS. As a passionate coffee farmer, he is dedicated to producing high-quality beans that capture the true essence of specialty coffee.
Nestled at an altitude of 1,600m to 1,700m, his farm benefits from the perfect microclimate for growing coffee with complex flavors and a smooth texture. The high elevation, nutrient-rich soil, and crafted cultivation ensure that every bean meets specialty coffee standards.
With years of expertise and an unwavering commitment to quality, Pragati Rana Magar plays a vital role in Lumpek’s thriving coffee-growing community. Every harvest reflects not just his hard work but also the artistry of coffee farming—bringing rich aromas, balanced acidity, and a full-bodied taste to every cup.
Samir Khatri, a young farmer from Khalte Lamdanda, Syangja, is also quickly becoming well-known in the coffee industry. His coffee-growing career began in 2019, and he currently owns 15 roopani farms. Samir coffee beans are grown between 1350 and 1550 meters above sea level. This is because Syangja's geography and weather make it possible to cultivate the highest-quality specialty coffee beans.
